Love lost

I am sitting on a deserted beach at a partially cloudy sunset with the waves breaking silently onto the fine grained sand at your feet. The cool breeze further chills your sad lonely heart. I feel loneliness, an aching in my heart and a sense of loss that I cannot explain. The sky begins to grow darker as does the void in my heart and the thoughts of love lost gnaws at my whole being. Little drops begin to fall from my eyes and from the sky leaving pock marks on the sand and the waves. And the world cries with me as I call out her name again and again.
